Done-for-you service
If you are invisible on Google Maps, that customer never existed.
Most Korean businesses maintain Naver Place and leave Google Maps empty — or claimed once, years ago, and never touched since. Visitors from abroad and locals who use Google see the gap and walk to the shop next door. We take over the profile: claim it, make the details consistent, and keep reviews and photos moving.
Who this is for
Anywhere customers arrive via map search — neighbourhood shops, clinics, salons, repair services, cafés and restaurants, and any business with foreign visitors.
What this usually looks like
- The business is missing from Google Maps, or was claimed years ago and left alone
- Hours, phone number or address are wrong — customers arrive to a closed door
- Only a handful of reviews, and nobody replies to them
- Naver Place is maintained; nobody owns Google
- Foreign customers cannot find you — there is no English information
What we do
Create it if it does not exist; recover ownership if it does. Profiles created by a former staff member and since orphaned are more common than you would expect.
Name, address and phone rendered identically across your site, Naver and Google. When the forms disagree, Google is less confident they are the same business.
The primary category governs what you surface for. We set primary and secondary categories against what the business actually earns from, then fill in attributes and service lists.
Build the path that gets a customer to leave a review, and reply to the ones that arrive. A profile with replies reads differently from one without.
Exterior, interior, menu and treatment photos posted regularly, with updates. A profile frozen for years emits no activity signal.
Map rankings for 'area + category' terms, measured across a geographic grid. How far across your catchment you actually rank is the real metric.
What this is not
- Promises of rankings within days — map rank is distance, relevance and prominence, and distance cannot be edited
- Bulk review generation or automation — Google detects it, and detection suspends the profile
- Naver Place management (ask separately)
How it runs
Profile state, information consistency, review position and competitor coverage, delivered as a report. You can stop here and decide.
Claim, ownership, NAP, categories, attributes and an initial photo set, done in one pass.
Photo and post updates, review replies, rank tracking report. Each month you see what moved and what did not.
Frequently asked questions
What decides Google Maps ranking?
Google names three factors — relevance (how well the profile matches the search), distance (from the searcher), and prominence (how well known the business is). Distance cannot be changed, so the work is relevance and prominence: categories, attributes, reviews and consistent information.
Is Naver Place not enough?
Naver dominates domestic search, but Google Maps is the default map on Android and effectively the only map foreign visitors use in Korea. If any of your customers are visitors or Google users, it is not a space to leave empty. The two are separate entrances, not substitutes.
How long does it take?
The foundation work takes two to four weeks. Ranking movement takes longer and depends on how contested your area is. We do not promise a number-one position in days.
Can I just claim the profile myself?
Yes. Claiming is not hard, and doing it yourself is often the right call. Our work starts after that — category selection, information consistency, review flow, and the monthly operation and measurement. If you only need the claim, follow the guide on our blog.
How is this different from the Trina product?
Trina is a product that runs content marketing automatically. This is a service a person delivers. Map profile work involves photos, reviews and on-site details that automation does not replace, so we keep it separate.
We check what state the profile is in and how far across your catchment it ranks. Read the report, then decide.
